We send out a monthly newsletter with information about BCAMT news and events. This is automatically sent to all members.
The BCAMT listserv is an excellent way to get the latest developments first hand and also provide yourself with an arena to be heard. The listserv connects math teachers who are ready and willing to share advice and expertise. There are two convenient ways to sign up:
1. Contact us to ask to get manually added to the list.
2. Send an email to discussion-join@bcamt.ca and go through an automated process.
Each year BCAMT honours exemplary math teaching through five awards: our most notable, the Ivan L. Johnson Memorial Award, provides an expenses-paid trip to the NCTM conference.
The BCAMT provides grants to support collaborative teams of teachers seeking to extend their professional learning. Each year we offer up to $8,000 in total grant funds to our membership, which must be used to further mathematics education in BC.
